Volunteer
Our projects are volunteer led. This means that the more volunteers we have, the more people in our community we impact. Whether you have carpentry skills, painting experience, or simply bring passion, we can use you!
There are two main ways to volunteer. If you are an individual, you can join our Good Samaritans that work with us on a weekly basis. If you have a group of five or more, we can set you up with a neighbor in need to focus on a project start to finish.
Good Samaritans
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday our team of Good Samaritans build wheelchair ramps, repair roofs, fix leaks, and so much more. If you are interested in helping for a day or even adding our cause to your weekly calendar, join this team of hard-workers at 9:00 am at our office (3864 Lake St.) Wear your working shoes and clothes you can get dirty!
Volunteer Teams
This is a wonderful opportunity for your business, social club, school, church, or even a group of friends to get together to show how you can invest in your community. With your group, we can paint houses, build wheelchair ramps, replace roofs, and many other projects. We can arrange lodging for out of town groups.
Have a group that would like to get their hands dirty? Send us an email at info@rebuildingmacon.org to schedule a project.
We'll put you to work!
*Children under 14 are not allowed to volunteer.
